[/fusion_text][fusion_text]My husband’s family has been in the real estate business for over 40 years as both real estate agents and investors. They have been involved in over 1,000 real estate transactions as real estate agents, have owned up to 28 homes at one time and bought and sold over 100 homes as investors.
We began buying properties in the Vero Beach, FL area a few years ago. My husband and I now have a total of 20 homes. There are 14 single family home rental properties in Florida with annual leases and we manage those properties as well.
We then decided to diversify and to spend some time in Eastern Tennessee where we love the Smoky Mountain scenery and the idea of overnight rental properties. We now own 6 overnight rental properties in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, TN. Look at our Tennessee website at www.TheresaSellsCabins.com. In the process of working in the real estate market we have flipped homes, purchased foreclosures and short sales, renovated homes, and even purchased a property using retirement funds using a self-directed IRA.
I have a master’s degree in counseling which honed my skills as a good listener and the ability to put together an action plan to meet my customer’s needs.
We’ve now met our own real estate investment goals and are continuing to help others to understand how real estate can be a portion of their investment plan.
Remember, every real estate purchase is an investment whether you use it as a primary residence, second home or as a rental income property.
